Our commitment
Uasongiro LLC aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across uasongiro.com. Accessibility is treated as part of building the site, not as a later addition.
What we have done
- semantic HTML headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate the structure;
- a visible “skip to main content” link on every page;
- keyboard access to every interactive element, including the navigation and cookie banner, with visible focus styles;
- text and background color combinations tested to meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text;
- descriptive alternative text on informative images and empty alt attributes on decorative ones;
- text that reflows without loss of function at 200% zoom and on small screens;
- respect for the operating system's “reduce motion” setting, which disables our animations;
- no content that flashes, auto-plays audio or moves in a way that cannot be avoided.
Known limitations
Some third-party embedded content, such as a mapping or advertising script, may not fully meet our standard. Where we cannot fix it, we provide the same information as accessible text on the page.
Our office
Our office at 290 Broadway has a step-free lobby entrance and elevator access. If you need any specific arrangement for a meeting — accessible parking guidance, a ground-floor room, extra time or written materials in large print — tell us when booking and we will arrange it.
