Our story
Started because good advice kept arriving too late
Jennifer Miller spent fourteen years inside operations teams — three of them in third-party logistics, six in healthcare services, five in light manufacturing. The pattern was always the same: consultants arrived after the software was already bought, and the recommendations assumed a company twice the size.
Uasongiro LLC was founded in 2018 to do it the other way round. We come in before the purchase order, work with the people who do the job, and hand over something the team can run without us. Our clients are typically between 5 and 200 employees, most of them within a few hours of New York, though we work remotely across the United States.
We are intentionally small. Fewer clients, all of them handled by senior people, and a hard limit on how many engagements run at once.

Five principles we actually apply
Diagnose before prescribing
No recommendation leaves this office until we have watched the work happen and put numbers on it.
Write everything down
If a process only exists in someone's head, it is not a process. Every engagement ends with documentation you own.
Talk to the people doing the job
The most useful hour of any project is spent with the person who has been working around the problem for two years.
Ship in phases
Six-month projects fail quietly. We work in three to six week phases with something usable at the end of each one.
Say no when it is not a fit
We turn down work regularly. A referral to someone better suited costs us a project and earns a long relationship.
Leave clients independent
Success is you not needing to call us. Retainers are optional and month-to-month, never a condition of the project.
